Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.
Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.
Pregnancy Massage is a style of bodywork designed specifically for pregnant women. Pregnancy is a time when a woman's body endures tremendous stress due to dramatic physical and emotional changes. Using various techniques specially developed for the expecting mother, Pregnancy Massage helps release the pain and discomfort experienced throughout pregnancy. The benefits are profound, including emotional support, the relief of joint pain due to extra weight and postural imbalance, and improved breathing and relaxation.
Aromatherapy massage is massage therapy using highly concentrated plant oils, called essential oils, which are added to the massage oil or lotion. Each essential oil has different healing properties. For example, some calm while others energize. Aromatherapy massage is particularly suited to conditions involving stress, improving emotionally-related conditions, or just to help with relaxation.
I only use the purest organic therapeutic grade essential oils from Young Living.
Not to be confused with reflexology (which applies pressure to certain points of the foot in order to relieve specific symptoms elsewhere in the body), foot massages are for relaxation and to relieve tired, sore feet.
After a gentle foot scrub and relaxing hot water soak, your foot massage will begin. Using techniques similar to Swedish massage, massage oil is applied to the feet and the gentle, gliding strokes begin. Combining stroking, pivoting, kneading, finger walking and ankle rotation, the varying amounts of pressure help to stimulate the blood vessels in your feet conjuring up a gentle, soothing heat which immediately starts to relax you and help relieve pain. Hot towels applied to the feet complete this soothing treatment.
Treatment consists of 15 minutes scrub and soak and a 15 minute foot massage, followed by hot towels.

This type of massage is highly effective for chronic congestion of the digestive and eliminative system, and a great way to detox yourself. During this 30 minutes session you will receive an abdominal massage in the direction of your colon using essential oils which may aid in relief of gas and constipation. A warm compress will be placed over your abdomen for the last 10 minutes and while you rest with the compress, your choice of either a scalp massage or foot massage will be provided.
